Classic Trance music for beginners

My best cubbing years from 32-35 were times with loads of fun, dance, parties and friends.  At the time, it was house, garage, deep-house, Ibiza beach gorgeous sensory CDS and, many Defected Records tracks, progressive, a bit of hard house and trance and a tiny wee bit of techno.  Commercial music I stopped following in 1996, so was happy when I returned to Prince that he had also become more underground.

That is the beauty of electronic music and underground.  You seldom/never hear it unless you were there dancing to it 6 hours long or a summer anthem makes the radio.  Therefore, the names of tracks, the remixes, the DJ  plays in a set are generally unknown.  Fortunately, with Shazam we can now just look up a track. So during Corona home times, I listened (not live) to the Blackhole Night III of 4 DJ's with each a 1.15 minute approximately set.  Blackhole is the  Tiesto record label. The songs below are ones throughout that 4 plus hours in which I fell for instantly and so I'm sharing.  Some should get your ass off the couch to dance.

While I don't go out dancing anymore, I thoroughly partied at home as  dancing is also a good way to keep fit.  Lord knows, in my years of being an Aerobic/Steps instructor, the chosen music was everything before the hour of sweat began.  So... Enjoy this list of Classic Trance tracks.  Some a little melancholy, others more fiesty.  Although I wasn't a huge trance fan at the time, I do enjoy the classics, struck into good mixes by well known d-jays.

You can find them all on Shazam or Youtube, but if you look any up, be sure to ensure it's the right remix. As that is what electronic music is mostly about.  Mixing, remixing and using samples.  Michael Jackson's "Wanting to be Starting Something" for example was made extra special by the sample of Soul Makossa"[2]  a song released as a single in 1972 by Cameroon saxophonist and songwriter Manu Dibango.  ~You'll hear it at 4.44 in MJ's song. But for now... Trance... feat some lovely loungy female vocals and some upbeat rhythms.  You won't like them all but if you're new to trance you're bound to find some that you like.
